Eduardo Duda Melzer is the chairman and president of RBS Group. He got into the post in January 2016 when he took over from Nelson Sirtosky who headed the Board of Directors at RBS. Duda’s grandfather founded the company, and he is the third generation member of the family.
As the acting founder and chairman of Digital e.Bricks, RBS is a partner with the e.Bricks Ventures operational in Brazil and the USA. In his studies, he went to Pontifical Catholic University; the Rio Grande does Sul where he did Business Administration undergraduate degree. His MBA is from the Harvard University in the USA. He was recruited in their company in 2004 and was a Director General in the National Market. Eduardo Sirotsky Melzer went on to become the vice president in 2008. In 2010 he was the executive vice president of the firm. He was promoted in 2012, and he became the CEO, and recently he became the chairman of the board of directors.
Duda has also been in several organizations including Sweet Sweet Way when he was growing in the field of business. He was also involved in projects like Booz Allen and Hamilton. In the USA, he worked for Delphi Corporation in a senior analyst position. He became the CEO of Box Top Media when he was still growing his skills in business.
At Harvard, he did extra courses including Effective Strategies for Media Organizations and How to Build and Lead Customer Centered Organizations. The additional courses have added skills that have given him a competence in his leadership roles in the places that he heads.
He is also an excellent public speaker and has been participating in national and international summits that are sponsored by media firms in Brazil and the world.
