WEN by Chaz is a fabulous line of natural hair products made by the hair stylist of the stars, Chaz Dean. They are sold on QVC infomercials, and everybody’s hair is different, so Emily McClure decided to stay on her regular daily schedule, and put WEN hair to the test.
Emily McClure had seen the infomercials with the beautiful girls who had long wavy hair who used Wen by Chaz, but she wondered if it worked for the average twenty-something woman with not-so-perfect hair. So, the week-long test began. Emily kept a day by day journal, and these are her results.
WEN cleansing conditioners have gained a good reputation by now. The product that Emily tested was the Wen by Chaz Cleansing Conditioner with an added styling treatment. Wen by Chaz products are specially formulated with all natural ingredients, which makes all the difference even on unruly hair types.
Emily’s hair was greasy/frizzy/unruly by her own admission, and after purchasing the double conditioner and cleanser, she says she followed the directions on the bottle. On Day 1,- her hair looked shinier and clean. Days 2-6, she found her hair got greasy overnight and she had to wash it in the morning.
By Day 7, she had come to accept that by washing her hair with Wen by Chaz Dean every morning, she was guaranteed to have soft, bouncy, beautiful hair all day long. Emily admittedly had greasy, unmanageable hair to begin with – so this was a true test, and Wen Cleansing Conditioner came out the winner.
Chaz Dean founder of Wen by Chaz has a studio in Hollywood where he created the products when he wasn’t designing beautiful hair styles for celebrities. Emily proved that the average girls can reap the benefits, and not even be near Hollywood.
